🇺🇸 Flag Day & U.S. Army 251st Birthday 🇺🇸![]()
Today, the Spectracare Foundation and the Carlton R. Rouh Veterans Center proudly join our nation in celebrating two important occasions—Flag Day and the 251st Birthday of the United States Army.![]()
Flag Day, observed each year on June 14th, commemorates the adoption of the Stars and Stripes as the official flag of the United States in 1777. Our flag represents the courage, sacrifice, freedom, and unity that define our nation. It serves as a powerful reminder of the men and women who have defended our liberties throughout our country’s history. Every time we see Old Glory waving proudly, we are reminded of the values that bring Americans together and the sacrifices made to preserve them.![]()
Today also marks the 251st Birthday of the United States Army, established on June 14, 1775, more than a year before the Declaration of Independence was signed. From the Revolutionary War to today’s global missions, Army Soldiers have answered the call to serve with honor, courage, and dedication. For over two and a half centuries, the Army has stood as a symbol of strength and resilience, protecting our nation and defending freedom around the world.![]()
As we celebrate these historic milestones, we extend our deepest gratitude to all Army veterans, active-duty Soldiers, reservists, National Guard members, and military families. Your service and sacrifice have helped secure the freedoms represented by our American flag.![]()
The Spectracare Foundation and the Carlton R. Rouh Veterans Center remain committed to honoring and supporting those who have served our country.![]()
Please join us in wishing the United States Army a Happy 251st Birthday and in proudly honoring our nation’s flag today and every day.![]()
Happy Flag Day and Happy Birthday, U.S. Army! 🇺🇸🪖![]()

Both Flag Day and the United States Army Birthday are observed on June 14th, and in 2026, the U.S. Army is observing its 251st anniversary. Both observances share the day because the Continental Congress adopted the American flag in 1777 and officially established the U.S. Army in 1775.
