🇺🇸 Presidents’ Day 2026 – Honoring Leadership, Service & Sacrifice 🇺🇸On Monday, February 16, 2026, our nation observes Presidents’ Day — a time to reflect on the courage, character, and leadership of the men who have served as President of the United States.Originally established to celebrate the birthday of George Washington, the holiday has grown into a tribute to all who have held our nation’s highest office — including Abraham Lincoln and the leaders who followed. Through times of challenge and change, their decisions have shaped the direction of our country and preserved the ideals of liberty and democracy. While we honor our Presidents, we also recognize those who carry forward the responsibility of protecting our nation and communities every day — our veterans, active-duty military, and first responders. The freedoms our Presidents vow to uphold are safeguarded by the brave men and women who serve in uniform and by the dedicated police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and emergency personnel who stand ready to respond at a moment’s notice. Their commitment, courage, and selfless service embody the very principles that define America. This Presidents’ Day 2026, let us reflect on our nation’s history, express gratitude to our veterans, active-duty military, and first responders, and recommit ourselves to the values that make America strong.Thank you for your unwavering dedication to our country and our communities.#PresidentsDay2026 #HonorOurHeroes #Veterans #FirstResponders #Leadership #Service #USA See MoreSee Less

This past Thursday, February 12th, 2026, after our weekly Coffee and Conversation at the Carlton R. Rouh Veterans Center, our veterans enjoyed another inspiring session of Photography with Tom MacPherson 📸Tom introduced the principles of abstract and minimalist photography, teaching our veterans how to look at everyday surroundings in a whole new way. By focusing on light, shadows, textures, shapes, and negative space, they discovered how simple details can become powerful works of art.The class had so much fun walking around, searching for unique angles and hidden beauty in ordinary objects. What might seem plain at first glance became creative masterpieces through their lenses. Tom also demonstrated how editing can enhance contrast, crop with intention, and bring an artistic vision to life — transforming simple captures into meaningful art.We were also excited to welcome a new member to our community — Air Force veteran Zuri, who joined us specifically for Tom MacPherson’s photography class! We are honored that you chose to spend your time with us and share your creativity. Welcome to the family, Zuri 🇺🇸Photography is more than just taking pictures — it encourages mindfulness, creativity, patience, and self-expression. It gives our veterans another healthy and positive outlet to share their stories and perspectives with the world.Thank you, Tom, for sharing your talent, passion, and creativity with our heroes. We look forward to the next class!#PhotographyWithVeterans #CreativeHealing #AbstractPhotography #Minimalism #AirForceVeteran #VeteransCommunity #CoffeeAndConversation #SpectracareFoundation See MoreSee Less
