March is National Social Work Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to support individuals, families, and communities.At the Spectracare Foundation, we are grateful for the compassionate social workers who stand beside our veterans every day. Social workers play a vital role in helping veterans navigate life after service—connecting them with resources, providing emotional support, advocating for their needs, and helping them rebuild purpose and stability.Their work goes far beyond paperwork and programs. Social workers listen, guide, encourage, and remind our heroes that they are not alone. 📸 Healing Photography with Tom MacPhersonThis past Thursday, March 5th, after our weekly Coffee and Conversation at the Carlton R. Rouh Veterans Center, our veterans had the opportunity to participate in a special session of Healing Photography with Tom MacPherson.Tom spent time with our veterans answering questions about photography, sharing tips, and talking about how photography is more than just taking pictures—it is a powerful form of art and self-expression. Through the lens of a camera, photography allows individuals to capture moments, tell stories, and see the world from a new perspective. ☕🇺🇸 Coffee and Conversation – March 5, 2026 🇺🇸☕This past Thursday, March 5th, our weekly Coffee and Conversation gathering at the Carlton R. Rouh Veterans Center once again brought together our amazing veterans for a morning of friendship, support, and meaningful conversations. These weekly gatherings continue to be a special time where our heroes can connect, share stories, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes this program so meaningful.A special thank you to Lindenwold Councilman Raymond Morrisey for sending delicious donuts for our veterans this past Thursday. Your generosity made the morning even sweeter and was truly appreciated by everyone.We would also like to recognize Eric Patton, who faithfully delivers the Wawa sandwiches every week for all of our veterans.
