SpectraCare Foundation
Spectracare Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Lawrence Brooks, the oldest World War II veteran in the United States and believed to be the nation’s oldest man. At 112 years old, he represented more than remarkable longevity — he was a living link to a generation that helped shape the modern world. 🕊️🇺🇸
With Lawrence’s passing, we lose not only a man, but a witness to an era defined by sacrifice, endurance, and quiet courage. A member of the Greatest Generation, he carried his service with humility and grace through more than a century of change.
His long life stands as a powerful testament to duty, resilience, and the enduring strength of those who gave so much in the cause of freedom. Though his voice is now silent, the legacy he leaves behind will remain — in memory, in gratitude, and in the nation he helped defend.

Today, on K-9 Veterans Day (March 13), the Spectracare Foundation proudly honors the brave military and working dogs who have served alongside our service members throughout history.
