Last Thursday, March 26, 2026, our Coffee and Conversation gathering at the Carlton R. Rouh Veterans Center was truly meaningful and informative. We were honored to welcome our guest speakers from Samaritan—Erika Thomas, Director of Social Connections, and Taneesha Marshall-Id’Deen, Manager of Volunteer Services. They shared valuable insights about the wide range of compassionate services Samaritan of New Jersey provides, including hospice care, advance directive resources, Five Wishes planning, end-of-life care, and even the comforting support of lifelike animatronic cat and dog therapy companions.Their presentation offered important guidance not only for our veterans but for everyone in attendance, helping us better understand how to plan, support, and care for ourselves and our loved ones.We also extend a warm welcome to Vinood Singh, a veteran who joined us for the first time, and to our visitor Audrey Tellez. It’s always a joy to grow our Coffee and Conversation family.Thank you to our incredible speakers, our new guests, and especially to our veterans—our everyday heroes—who make this community so special. Together, we continue to learn, support, and uplift one another.SamaritanNJ.org – (800) 229-8183#CoffeeAndConversation #VeteransSupport #SamaritanNJ #CommunityStrong #VeteransHelpingVeterans #SpectracareFoundation See MoreSee Less

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes – Vietnam Veterans Day 🇺🇸Today, on Vietnam Veterans Day — March 29, 2026 — the Spectracare Foundation proudly honors the brave men and women who served during the Vietnam War.We recognize the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of our Vietnam veterans—many of whom returned home without the recognition they so deeply deserved. Today, we say what should have always been said: Welcome home, and thank you for your service. At the Spectracare Foundation and the Carlton R. Rouh Veterans Center, we are committed to continuing that recognition—not just today, but every day—by supporting, uplifting, and standing beside our veterans. To all Vietnam veterans in our community and across the nation:Your service mattered.Your sacrifices mattered. You matter.Let us take a moment to reflect, remember those we lost, and honor those who are still with us.#VietnamVeteransDay #welcomehome #HonorOurVeterans #spectracarefoundation #VeteransSupport #NeverForgotten 🇺🇸 See MoreSee Less
