🌿 Gardening with Trevor Shaw – February 5, 2026 🌿After our Coffee and Conversation on Thursday, February 5th, our veterans enjoyed another wonderful Gardening with Trevor Shaw session at the Carlton R. Rouh Veterans Center. This month, Trevor focused on herbs and their powerful health benefits, sharing how easy it is to grow them at home and incorporate them into everyday life. He talked about how herbs like basil, rosemary, mint, and thyme can support digestion, boost immunity, reduce inflammation, improve heart health, and even help with relaxation and stress relief. To make the class even more hands-on, Trevor brought herb samples for our veterans to plant, encouraging everyone to continue gardening at home and experience the therapeutic benefits that come from nurturing plants. Gardening not only supports physical health, but also promotes mental wellness, mindfulness, and a sense of accomplishment.Thank you, Trevor, for always sharing your knowledge, passion, and practical tips that help our veterans grow healthier—inside and out.🌱💚#gardeningwithtrevorshaw #coffeeandconversation#VeteransWellness #HealingThroughGardening#herbsandhealth #mindbodywellness#spectracarefoundation #VeteransSupport See MoreSee Less

This past Thursday, February 5th, 2026, our Coffee and Conversation at the Carlton R. Rouh Veterans Center was a meaningful gathering of reflection, remembrance, and fellowship. In light of the veterans we lost over the past week, we paused to observe a moment of silence—honoring their service, their sacrifice, and the legacy they leave behind. They will never be forgotten and will always remain in our hearts. We were also honored to welcome a special guest, John Koffoet Jr., a veteran and firefighter visiting us from South Carolina. Thank you, John, for spending time with our veterans—it truly meant a great deal.Additionally, we were pleased to have Senior Vice Commander George Bethel of VFW Post 303 visit us and share important updates with our veterans. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our veteran community.Coffee and Conversation continues to be a place of support, brotherhood, and healing. Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to stand together as one veteran family.🇺🇸☕💙#coffeeandconversation #veteranssupportingveterans #neverforgotten #honorourveterans #VeteranFamily #vfwpost303 #carltonrrouhveteranscenter #spectracarefoundation #ServiceAndSacrifice #WeRemember See MoreSee Less
