🇺🇸💜 Honoring Women Veterans Day – June 12, 2026 💜🇺🇸Today, the Spectracare Foundation proudly joins our nation in celebrating Women Veterans Day, a day dedicated to recognizing the courage, service, sacrifice, and achievements of the women who have worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces.Women Veterans Day is observed each year on June 12th to commemorate the signing of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act of 1948, legislation that granted women the right to serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. military. While women have served our country since the Revolutionary War, often in unofficial roles or by disguising themselves as men, this historic law marked a turning point in military history and paved the way for generations of women to serve with honor and distinction.Today, women veterans continue to make invaluable contributions to our nation and our communities. They have answered the call to serve in times of war and peace, broken barriers, led with strength and resilience, and continue to inspire future generations. As we celebrate Women Veterans Day, we would also like to recognize a special event held on Friday, June 5, 2026, when Jefferson Health and the Spectracare Foundation partnered to host a Women Veterans Luncheon at Jefferson Health Hospital in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The luncheon provided an opportunity for women veterans to come together, share experiences, build connections, and receive the appreciation they so richly deserve. We are grateful to Jefferson Health for their partnership and commitment to supporting those who have served. To all women veterans: thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your dedication to our country. Your strength, leadership, and courage have helped shape the history of our military and continue to strengthen our communities every day. Please join us in honoring and thanking all women veterans today and every day.#WomenVeteransDay #womenveterans #Veterans #thankyouforyourservice #spectracarefoundation #jeffersonhealth #WomenWhoServe #militarywomen #VeteranCommunity #aplaceforourheroes See MoreSee Less

Their support and hospitality helped make the evening a tremendous success. The weather was beautiful, creating the perfect outdoor setting for veterans, community members, partner organizations, friends, and supporters to come together in fellowship and camaraderie. Guests enjoyed great music, a live DJ "Ray", delicious bite-sized foods, and plenty of laughter throughout the evening.Events like these are about more than just having a good time—they provide opportunities to strengthen friendships, build new connections, and bring our community together in support of the heroes we proudly serve.
